    Art and Craft after school starts on Monday 3rd October


    P1 & P2 1.40-2.40pm in P1 classroom
    P3-P7 2.50-3.50pm in P3 classroom 

    Cost £35 for 10 weeks, payable through SchoolMoney

    Please note: Places are limited (20 per session) and are allocated on a first come first served basis.

  • FLU VACCINATION INFORMATION

    All pupils have received Flu vaccination consent forms and these should be returned to school as soon as possible.

     

    Normally each child's envelope would contain a Flu Information Leaflet to support the process of informed consent for vaccination. There has been a delay in availablility of the paper version of the leaflet this year.

    Please book kids lunches online through our SchoolMoney system. School lunches should be booked by 11pm the previous evening. If you have any problems accessing SchoolMoney, please contact the office ☎ 02870833010.

  • CHRONICLE PRIMARY 1 SUPPLEMENT

    The Chronicle is publishing a special primary one souvenir edition due to be published week beginning 3rd October, marking your son or daughter’s all-important first days at school.

     

    This special supplement will feature full colour pictures of primary one classes from schools across the area and is available to pre-order from THE SHOP on SchoolMoney for £1.20 each. For every copy ordered The Chronicle will donate 20p to the school fund.

     

    These copies will be delivered direct to the school for your child to bring home.

     

    Closing date for orders is Tuesday 27th September.

     

  • COMMUNITY LITTER PICK

    Join Portstewart Community Association this Saturday morning for their Community Litter pick starting at 10am from the Witch's Hat.

     

    Equipment provided but bring your own gloves.

  • MASS FOR BEGINNING OF THE SCHOOL YEAR,WEDNESDAY 28TH SEPTEMBER

  • SCHOOL CLOSURE, MONDAY 19TH SEPTEMBER

    In accordance with guidance from The Minister of Education, St Colum's Primary School will be closed on Monday 19th September 2022 as this has been designated an exceptional school closure for schools to mark Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II's State Funeral.

     

  • STRINGED INTRUMENT TUITION

    Our EA Music tutors have resumed their music teaching timetable again this term. It is great to see the children back at their music lessons and there is some availability for stringed instruments for children in P5 and/or P4 to begin lessons.   • CASH FOR CLOBBER COLLECTION, WEDNESDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER

    CASH FOR CLOBBER COLLECTION

     

    Time for a post-summer clear-out of old or unwanted textiles?  Our first Cash For Clobber collection of our new school year is on Wednesday, 14th September.

     

    Please bring your bags of unwanted textiles to school 8:30am - 9:15am on Wednesday and pass 'over the wall' to staff at the front of the school.  Remember to observe social distancing.

     

    What can you put in the bag??

    • All types of clothing (even with holes!)
    • Bags and shoes (please tie shoes together with laces)
    • Hats and belts
    • Towels and curtains
    • Bed linen (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers)

     

    ** Remember all items must be clean.** 

     

    Please help us recycle and raise funds for our school.
