  • PRE-SCHOOL AND PRIMARY SCHOOL ADMISSION 2019

    Is your child due to start pre-school or primary school in September 2019? You can apply for their place online from Wednesday 2 January 2019.


    The closing date for pre-school and primary one applications will be 12.00 midnight on Thursday 31 January 2019.
    Pre-school and primary one admissions criteria is now available to view on the EA website.

    We had a lovely time this morning playing and singing Christmas carols for the residents of Abbeyfield House.🎶 Many thanks to the residents and staff for the warm welcome.

  • CHRISTMAS WALK TO SCHOOL

    WOW! What a lovely mild morning for our Christmas Walk to School. And what a surprise! Santa arrived to join one of our walking buses and lead us to school. Well done to everyone who walked, cycled or scooted today. FANTASTIC!

     

    Afterwards we had hot chocolate, marshmallows and biscuits in the hall. What a lovely end to the term.

     

    Many thanks everyone for your support of our active travel to school. Looking forward to many more active travel days next year. 🚶‍♀️ 🚌 🚴🎅🏻

    The forecast for tomorrow morning is... light rain and a moderate breeze... for our Christmas Walk to School. 🚶‍♀️ 🚌 🚴🎅🏻 Please dress appropriately for the weather conditions.

     

    Too far to walk all the way?...Walking buses leaving Manina and the Warren at 8:40am or park in Convention Avenue and walk the rest of the way. 


    Hot chocolate and biscuits in the school after registration at 9am.

    THANK YOU to everyone who donated bags of unwanted textiles for our Cash for Clobber Collection today... raising £44! Fantastic! We really appreciate your support for this scheme - recycling and fund-raising!

  • ST. VINCENT DE PAUL HAMPERS

    Today our school council presented hampers to Mr Eugene Kelly, local President of the St. Vincent de Paul Society. Each class collected and assembled Christmas hampers, to be distributed to local families in need of some assistance at this time of year.

    Lots of excitement today with the PTA and Pre-School draw. Congratulations to the all our prize winners and to our ticket sellers. We hope you enjoy your prizes. Many thanks to everyone for your support for this fundraiser which raised over £1500 for PTA and Pre-School funds. And a huge THANK YOU and to all those who donated raffle prizes, please give them your support.

  • CHRISTMAS WALK TO SCHOOL

    As part of our involvement with Sustrans Active School Travel programme and Eco-Schools Programme we are encouraging children to actively travel (walk, scoot or cycle) to school.

    Please join us on our last day of term for our Christmas Walk to School. Hop on our 'Walking Buses', leaving Manina and the Warren at 8.40am SHARP!! 🚶‍ 🚌 🚴and join us in the hall afterwards for hot chocolate and biscuits. 

    It's non-uniform day so wear something festive and don't forget your Hi-vis vest! Let's see if we can get all our pupils to walk, cycle or scoot to school this Friday!
