Sentinus is a not for profit charity which works with schools and colleges throughout Northern Ireland to deliver programmes which promote engagement in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics. More than 50,000 students engage with our programmes each year and the range of activities and initiatives is diverse enough to engage students from the age of 5 to 18 years. All of the programmes are designed to enrich and enhance the curriculum in all Key Stages and the focus is on practical problem-solving activities.
In the Summer of 2018, Sentinus has engaged in a partnership with select schools and universities across Northern Ireland to provide a number of STEM Summer Schools. The programme will last for five days and will involve a range of fun activities. Participants in the Sentinus STEM Summer School will have the opportunity to explore what our cities might look like in the future. Participants will work in teams and consider energy and water needs, communications and transport, housing, food production, recreation and much more. They will have an opportunity to build a model to represent their ideas.

Ireland's biggest fundraiser starts today!
Trócaire boxes were distributed to our school families and our classrooms last week. This year the Trócaire box tells Kumba's story, a seven-year-old girl from Sierra Leone.
Many thanks for your support for this campaign to support over two million of the poorest and most vulnerable people around the world this year.
