  • EARTH HOUR, SATURDAY 25TH MARCH at 8.30PM

    Thu 23 Mar 2023

🌍Join Earth Hour this Saturday evening by, switching off the lights and devices at 8:30pm and be part of the movement to make nature matter!

Earth Hour is the world’s largest voluntary action for the environment.... to raise awareness and press for action about the loss of nature.

Nature not only provides us with all the things we need to live - from the air we breathe to the water we drink, and from the shelter we need to the economy we rely on - but also makes our lives better. However, its growing loss puts this all under threat.

Help protect our shared home and inspire the world, one small action at a time!

What will you do during Earth Hour? We'd love to see what you get up to. Send us your photos via Seesaw or message our Facebook page,

    Fri 17 Mar 2023

Looking forward to starting our Sustrans BIG WALK AND WHEEL challenge on Monday, 20th March .

We are encouraging all our pupils, families and staff to travel actively to school over the next two weeks.... walk, cycle, scoot or park and stride to school. πŸ˜ƒπŸš²πŸ›ΉπŸ›΄πŸš΄‍β™‚οΈπŸš΄‍β™€οΈπŸšΆ‍β™€οΈπŸšΆ‍β™‚οΈπŸšΆ‍β™€οΈπŸšΆ‍♂️

Why not help to reduce congestion in front of the school by parking further from school and 'striding' the short distance to school. 🚢‍β™€οΈπŸšΆ‍β™‚οΈπŸšΆ‍β™€οΈπŸšΆ‍♂️

We will be recording the number of children and supporters who travel with them each day and there are some brilliant prizes to be won.πŸ†πŸ†

Last year St Colum’s topped the North East region leaderboard for the Big Walk & Wheel Challenge πŸ˜€We would love to try and get onto the leaderboard again this year.

    Many thanks for your support.
