ADVENT WEEK 3: JOY

Today we light the third candle on our Advent wreath.

John the Baptist came as a witness to the light, to prepare the people for the coming of Christ. He baptised them with water, but he also let them know that someone else was coming who was far greater than him.

THE TEA TOWELS HAVE ARRIVED!!

Hooray! Our 85th Anniversary tea towels have arrived! If you have already ordered these will be sent home with pupils today.

Don't worry if you haven't ordered as there is still time to buy from THE SHOP on SchoolMoney.

A huge thank you to the PTA for organising the printing and packaging up all the orders. And to everyone who has purchased teatowels, raising much needed funds for our PTA.

We really appreciate your support for this scheme - recycling and fund-raising for our school!

Please continue to save your unwanted textiles for us. Our next collection will be on Wednesday 14th January.

REMINDER: CASH FOR CLOBBER COLLECTION DAY TOMORROW, WEDNESDAY 9TH DECEMBER

Time for a pre-Christmas clearout of old or unwanted textiles? Our next Cash For Clobber collection is tomorrow, Wednesday, 9th December.

What can you put in the bag??

All types of clothing (even with holes!)
Bags and shoes (please tie shoes together with laces)
Hats and belts
Towels and curtains
Bed linen (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers)

** Remember all items must be clean.**

Slightly different arrangements this year... bring your bags of unwanted textiles to school 8:30am - 9:15am on Wednesday and pass 'over the wall' to staff at the front of the school. Remember to observe social distancing.

Please help us recycle and raise funds for our school.
