    A huge thank you to everyone who came to our Table Quiz on Friday evening, raising £349 towards PTA funds.
    Thanks to everyone who helped organise, donated raffle prizes and to the Railway Arms, Coleraine for hosting the quiz.

  • MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP, TUESDAY 17th APRIL

    Looking forward to our Mental Health workshop aimed at supporting parents and all the key adults in our young peoples' lives on Tuesda 17th April at 7pm in the school assembly hall. This workshop is open to the public and everyone is welcome. We would ask you to let anyone who you think would be interested know about the event and encourage them to attend.

  • FOOD WASTE CHALLENGE PHOTO WINNERS!

    We were delighted today to find out we had won the best photo entry for Causeway Coast and Glens Council Area in the Eco-Schools 2018 Food Waste Challenge. Looking forward to receiving our certificate and £200 towards Eco-school projects.

  • WANTED! PLASTIC 2 LITRE BOTTLES.

    After the winter weather, our greenhouse needs a little TLC and some minor repairs. Overnight the greenhouse fairies have replaced damaged bottles and bamboo on one side of the greenhouse but need some more plastic bottles to complete the job and leave it ship-shape for the growing season.

     

    Please help us collect enough bottles to complete our repairs. Plastic bottles can be left in the box in the school entrance hall.

  • Mental Health Training Workshop

    As part of the Northern Area Mental Health Initiative, staff took part in a training workshop designed to enhance key contacts’ awareness of and knowledge on issues that may affect
    the well-being of 8 to 25 year olds. 


    We are looking forward to workshops for our Primary 5, 6 and 7 classes next week and also a workshop aimed at supporting parents and all the key adults in our young peoples' lives on Tuesday 17th April at 7pm in the school assembly hall. This workshop is open to the public and everyone is welcome. We would ask you to let anyone who you think would be interested know about the event and encourage them to attend.

  • MENTAL HEALTH WORKSHOP

    We have been successful in securing a Workshop for Adults on the topic of Mental Health among 8 – 25 year olds. This initiative, supported by the Department of Education, will provide you with information, support and signposting to Mental Health Support Services for our young people. It is specifically aimed at supporting parents and all the key adults in our young people’s lives.

     

    TUESDAY 17TH APRIL

    7pm - 9:30pm (at the latest)

    St. Colum's Assembly Hall

    For ALL parents and Key adults in our young peoples' lives

     

    The workshop aims to increase all our skills, helping us to develop resilient cultures / environments and addressing the issues that impact on mental health.

     

    The staff have already completed their training and found it to be informative and relevant. Our P5, P6 and P7 children will all participate in workshops on the 16th April.

     

    The workshop is open to the public and everyone is welcome. We would ask you to let anyone who you think would be interested know about the event and encourage them to attend.
