Keep up to date with all the latest news happening in school at the moment.
The latest edition of the Family Hub Newsletter has a special focus on the cost of living crisis as we go into the colder, darker evenings when more heat is required and with the massive hikes in energy bills as well as the cost of food and other essentials we are seeing people focusing on how to get the best value for money.
It is also packed full of information for parents/carers, early years, children & young people with a disability, mental health and wellbeing advice, Helplines and much more. Read all at ... https://www.stcolumsprimaryschool.co.uk/newsletters-2/

Due to weather warnings in place for tomorrow, we will not run our Walking Bus from The Crescent in the morning.
It is still a non uniform day. Please wear your brightest clothes to school and 'Ditch the Dark', raising awareness of safe travel to school on the darker days.
Looking forward to Ditch the Dark Day on Friday 28th October!
Aiming to raise awareness of safe travel to school during the darker days and we are encouraging children to actively travel (walk, scoot, cycle, park and stride) to school wearing the brightest clothing they can! (it's a non-uniform day!)
Children are invited to get creative with their outfits and be super bright. The possibilities are endless – bright clothing, fluorescent orange socks, a pink tutu, a neon green wig – get bright, brighter, brightest! Parents are more than welcome to join the fun too! Please feel free to dress to impress in your best neon bright clothing and travel to school actively with your child on the day!
We understand that it might not be possible for everyone to actively travel to school the whole way, particularly if you live far away. In this case we’d encourage you to park a distance away from school and walk the final part of the journey to school with your child. In doing so we hope to reduce the number of cars around school and have lots of active kids!
why not join our walking bus which will leave the Witch's Hat in The Crescent at 8.35am SHARP on the day.
Looking forward to a fun filled Active Travel Day!
Many thanks for your continued support.
