Looking forward to π»ππββ πβπΌ π»πΈβπ Day tomorrow!
Aiming to raise awareness of safe travel to school during the darker days and we are encouraging children to actively travel (walk, scoot, cycle, park and stride) to school wearing the brightest clothing they can! (ππ₯'π€ π ππ π-π¦ππππ π£π πππͺ!)πΆβοΈπΆβοΈπΆβοΈπΆβοΈπ΄βοΈπ²π΄βοΈπ΄βοΈπ΄π΄
Children are invited to get creative with their outfits and be super bright. The possibilities are endless – bright clothing, fluorescent orange socks, a pink tutu, a neon green wig, hi-vis – get ππππππ ππππππππ πππππππππ! ππ¦Ίπ¦Ί
Parents are more than welcome to join in too! Please feel free to dress to impress in your best neon bright clothing and travel to school actively with your child on the day!
We understand that it might not be possible for everyone to actively travel to school the whole way, particularly if you live far away. In this case we’d encourage you to park a distance away from school and walk the final part of the journey to school with your child. In doing so we hope to reduce the number of cars around school and have lots of active kids!
Why not join our walking bus which will leave the Witch's Hat(bandstand) in The Crescent at 8.30am SHARP on the day.
Looking forward to a fun filled Active Travel Day!
Join Portstewart Community Association for their Community Litter Pick this Saturday, 21st October. Meet at the Witch's Hat(Bandstand) at 10am.π
Please bring your own gloves. π§€
Everyone welcome. Spread the word π Let's keep our town tidy!
Do you have unwanted costumes which your child has grown out of begging to be used again?
Please bring your unwanted costumes, hats, props etc to school this week and drop off in the box at reception.
On Friday, 20th October, between 2pm and 3.30pm, we are holding a pre-loved costume and uniform sale in the Primary 1 classroom.
Come along and pick up a new-to-you costume or spare uniform for a small donation.
Many thanks for your support.
