• CASH FOR CLOBBER COLLECTION

  Our next CASH FOR CLOBBER collection is on Wednesday 15th May. Time for a clearout of old or unwanted textiles to make way for your summer wardrobe?

   

  Bags of clean, unwanted textiles may be left in the school assembly hall from Monday 13th May. 
  
  What can you put in the bag??
  All types of clothing (even with holes!)
  Bags and shoes (please tie shoes together with laces)
  Hats and belts
  Towels and curtains
  Bed linen (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers)
  ** Remember all items must be clean.**

• ECO-BRICK COLLECTION

  Andrew, from the National Trust, visited school this week to collect our Eco-Bricks before delivering them to Dominican College, who will create sculptures which will be unveiled on World Oceans Day on Saturday 8th June at Portstewart Strand.

  
  We’re very excited to be involved in raising awareness of single use plastics and making Portstewart Strand a 'Plastic Free' beach.

• WOW! NIGHT OF FASHION TOTAL... £3500!!.

  Wow! Our Night of Fashion raised over £3500 for PTA funds! What an amazing total. 

   

  The support and generosity from local businesses for our Night of Fashion was amazing. A huge THANK YOU to our event sponsors Norserve, Northern Materials Handling, Wilson Mortgages, Harley's Old Surgery, Portstewart Arms and to all the businesses who so generously donated items for our auction and raffle. We can't thank them enough.Please give them your support.

   

  

• WHAT A SUPER NIGHT OF FASHION!

  What a super evening at our Night of Fashion!  A huge thank you to our PTA for organising a great night and to everyone who helped in any way organising the event.

   

  Thanks to everyone who came along on the night, bought raffle tickets or supported the event in any way. We are overwhelmed by the support of our school community.

   

  A special thank you to our wonderful comperes, Sean McCarry and Naomi McLaughlin for giving up their time to come and help make our night a success. Naomi’s blog is called The Big F Word and it’s definitely worth checking out bigfword.com for some great fashion content.

   

  Thanks to Simon from Moores of Coleraine and Una from Sassy by the Sea for organising the fabulous summer and occasion fashions on show and to our amazing models who did a brilliant job. Thanks to Claire from Clarins for a great skin care and make up demonstration and to Innova Irish Dance Company for their display in the interval.

   

  Thanks to Portstewart Golf Club, our event venue, for all their assistance in the preparation for the night.
