HAPPY BIODIVERSITY DAY!

Happy Biodiversity Day!

In the simplest terms, biodiversity refers to the variety of life on Earth and is a combination of the words ‘biological’ and ‘diversity’. This includes every life form, be it plants, animals, fungi and even microorganisms like bacteria. The greater the variety of these life forms that live within a habitat or landscape, the more biodiverse that environment is.

What can you spot through your window? ... or when you are out for a walk? Why not have a go at our latest Eco Schools Five Senses Challenge?

Take a snapshot or video of what you see... or make a drawing.

Please send your photos/videos to our Facebook page @stcolums or email to @stcolumsoffice186@c2kni.net
