WOW! What a lovely mild morning for our Christmas Walk on Wednesday. And what a surprise! Santa arrived to join one of our walking buses and lead us to school. 83% of our pupils walked, cycled or scooted to school today. FANTASTIC! Well done to everyone! Afterwards we had hot chocolate and marshmallows in the hall. What a lovely end to the term. Many thanks everyone for your support of our active travel to school.
It's TODAY!
Let's see if we can get the whole school to walk, scoot or cycle today!
Join us as we all walk to school on the last day of term! Walking buses from Manina, leaving 8:40am (hopefully our special guest will be there!) or the Warren or park in Central Avenue carpark(beside the fire station). Hot chocolate in the hall afterwards. Everyone welcome.
Prize for the class with the highest percentage of walkers.
We held our joint Christmas Carol Service with Portstewart Primary today in Portstewart Presbyterian Church. Beautiful singing and readings from all. Well done everyone!
Many thanks to Rev. Terry Laverty and Portstewart Presbyterian Church for allowing us to use their beautiful church for our service.
Happy Christmas and best wishes to all our friends in Portstewart Primary School.
