You may have been enjoying Rob Biddulph’s brilliant Draw with Rob draw along videos during our school closure.

On May 21st, Rob is going to attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the World’s Biggest Art Lesson. 

Rob will be live on YouTube at 4.00pm (BST) and wants to bring together thousands of people, of all ages, from households across the world and teach them how to draw the same picture at the same time. It will be an official Guinness World Records title attempt so a chance to make history... from home!

In order for the attempt to meet Guinness World Records’ criteria he needs participants – young and old – to register for the free lesson at www.artworldrecords.com and be there for the whole 30 minutes.

The attempt will also help to raise money for those most impacted by COVID-19.  Participants can donate what they can and companies have also begun to pledge financial support. These donations will go towards high impact charities to counter the impact of COVID-19, including stopping the disease’s spread, providing immediate relief to those most impacted and preventing future pandemics.

Notification of Post-Primary Placement for P7 pupils has been moved from Saturday 30 May to Thursday 4 June. Letters will be sent by EA on behalf of post-primary schools and will provide the application outcome and information on the appeals process.

Sports Day is one of our highlights of our school year and we as we can't have our usual Sport Day this year we have signed up for Healthy Kidz Virtual Sports Day in partnership with SPAR, EUROSPAR, VIVO, VIVOEXTRA and VIVOESSENTIALS.

Healthy Kidz have created a number of fun sporting events that will allow our pupils to compete against each other by recording thei results in the Healthy Kidz app.
