    It's Week 2 of our SUSTRANS BIG PEDAL Challenge and the forecast is for sunny intervals and a gentle breeze tomorrow morning.⛅ 

     

    Please walk, cycle, scoot and park and stride to school if you can. 😀 Help reduce congestion in front of the school by using Convention Avenue Car Park and 'striding' to school, helping reduce congestion at the school gates. 🚶‍♂️🚶‍♀️🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️🛴🛴🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️

    Day 4 results for the BIG PEDAL CHALLENGE. We are so impressed by the efforts of our pupils, parents, carers and staff!  1152 pupil journeys, physical activities and supporter journeys!

    Parenting Anxious Children & Teenagers

    The lives of young people have become increasingly complex as they adapt to a host of new approaches to living their lives. The incidence of anxiety has increased considerably and causes great concern and bewilderment for parents who often feel at a loss to intervene.

     

    Join Bronagh Starrs, internationally renowned psychotherapist, trauma specialist, academic and author for this seminar which will focus on supporting parents of anxious children and teenagers to understand anxiety. A trove of helpful strategies, both for the parent and the young person, will be discussed.

  • HAPPY EARTH DAY!

    Happy Earth Day!

     

    What better way to start World Earth Day than walking, cycling or scooting to school for our Sustrans Big Pedal Challenge? Why not help to reduce congestion in front of the school by using Convention Avenue Car Park and 'striding' the short distance to school.

     

    We will be recording the number of children and supporters who travel with them each day and there are some brilliant prizes.

  • PRE-SCHOOL AND PRIMARY SCHOOL ADMISSION UPDATE

    Parents/Guardians who applied online for a Pre-school place (target age - Stage 1*) or Primary 1 place for September 2021 admissions will be able to view the outcome of that application on 28 April from 10.00 am by visiting https://pupilservices.eani.org.uk/CitizenPortal_LIVE/en

     

    Your login details will be the email address and password you registered with when you applied online. You can check these details now by visiting the Citizen Portal using the link above and can reset your password if necessary.

     

    If you applied by paper application you will receive a letter by post on 28 April 2021.

     

    *Applications received after 12 noon on 5 February 2021 are not processed until after 27 April 2021. Pre-school Stage 2 runs from 28 April to 9 June 2021.

     

    Applications for Underage children are also processed during Stage 2.

     

  • CASH FOR CLOBBER - THANK YOU EVERYONE!

    WOW!! Once again so many bags for our Cash for Clobber collection this week they didn't all fit in the silver shed! THANK YOU to everyone who donated bags of unwanted textiles raising £120!! Fantastic! We really appreciate your support for this scheme - recycling and fund-raising for our school!

     

    Please continue to save your unwanted textiles for us. Our next collection will be on Wednesday 12th May.
