  • Afterschool Activities September-October 2025

    Afterschool Activities will begin on Monday 8th September and run until half-term.  Please book One-stop Club, Art, Tennis and Multi-skills via Payment section on SchoolMoney. Please note places are limited for these activities.

  • SCHOOL REOPENS THURSDAY 28TH AUGUST

    Our new school term starts on Thursday 28th August at 8.50am.😀 We look forward to welcoming everyone back and meeting our new Primary 1 class.

     

    Best wishes to our Class of 2025 as they continue their adventures in their new schools. 

     

    BREAKFAST CLUB re-opens on Thursday and runs each morning in the Assembly Hall, 7:50 - 8:50am.

     

    Our ONE-STOP CLUB for P1 - P3 pupils offering supervision from 1.50pm-2.50pm starts on Monday 1st September.


    Please book through the Clubs section on SchoolMoney to inform our planning  and supervision.

     

    Reminder: School will close at 12 noon on Thursday 28th and Friday 29th August.

    Are you ready for the new school year?

    Please note, as well as new applicants, parents/carers of children who are currently in receipt of Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance will need to apply again for the 2025/26 school year.

     

    If you don’t already have an EA Connect account, you will need to set one up. This is quick and easy to do, and there is lots of helpful information available on https://ow.ly/t0v850W2vhf to show you how.

     

    You will also find details on eligibility and the supporting documentation you will need to upload when making your application.

  • END OF YEAR MASS

    Our End of Year Mass will be held on Tuesday 24th June in St. Mary's Star of the Sea Church at 10am.

  • CASH FOR CLOBBER COLLECTION - WEDNESDAY 11TH JUNE

    Our next Cash For Clobber collection is on Wednesday 11th June.

     

    Please bring your bags of unwanted textiles to school 8:30am - 9:15am on Wednesday and pass 'over the wall' to staff at the front of the school.  Remember to observe social distancing.

     

    What can you put in the bag??

    • All types of clothing (even with holes!)
    • Bags and shoes (please tie shoes together with laces)
    • Hats and belts
    • Towels and curtains
    • Bed linen (sheets, pillow cases, duvet covers)

     

    ** Remember all items must be clean.** 

     

    Please help us recycle and raise funds for our school.

  • SUMMER FAIR, THURSDAY 5TH JUNE

    SUMMER FAIR this evening, 6-7.30pm in the school grounds. There is no entry fee but donations are most welcome.

     

    We are looking forward to an evening of family fun and have the following complimentary activities to entertain the children... Assault Course, Wiggle Cars, Sumo Suits, Football Darts, Casey’s Creatures, Giant Jenga, Connect 4, Face Painting, Nail Painting and more!

     

    NI Fire Service are visiting us with the fire engine and the School Car park will be closed to accommodate them.

     

    REFRESHMENTS
    BBQ….  Burgers on sale the BBQ at £2 each


    FIDELA COFFEE ROASTERS  

    Coffee £2.50, Flat white/latte/cappucino £3, Tea £2 (all proceeds to Summer Fair)

    WIN A CHOCOLATE BAR - 20p a go    LUCKY DIP  - 50p a go

     

    We have some super toys and books on our Pre-loved Stall as well as lots of pre-loved uniform.

     

    RAFFLE  Super prizes in our raffle. Tickets cost £1 per strip, 6 strips for £5. These are available to buy at the Fair or from THE SHOP on SchoolMoney. from tomorrow. The draw will take place in school on Thursday 19th June.

     

    We would really appreciate it if you could bring change if possible to help things run smoothly.

     

    We are looking forward to a fun filled St. Colum’s family event.

    Applicatiins for Free School Means and Uniform Allowance open on Monday 9th June via EA Connect.

     

    If you are in receipt of one of the following, you will need to upload a Proof of Benefit letter when applying for Free School Meals and Uniform Allowance for the 2025/26 academic year:

    ➡️ Income Support
    ➡️ Income Based Jobseeker’s Allowance
    ➡️ Income Related Employment and Support Allowance
    ➡️ Guarantee Element of State Pension Credit

     

    To be ready for when applications open on the EA Connect portal next week, you can request a Proof of Benefit letter now, by clicking here - https://ow.ly/bW8I50W2oaA

     

    ⏰ It will take at least five days to be sent to you.

    If you receive Universal Credit, you do not need the Proof of Benefit Letter. 

    However, you will need to upload evidence of your Universal Credit entitlement when you apply.
