Happy World Environment Day!

World Environment Day is celebrated  on 5th June each year with the aim of encouraging awareness and action for protection of our environment. The theme for World Environment Day 2022 is, Only one Earth

We cannot turn back time. But we can grow trees, green our towns and cities, rewild our gardens, travel sustainably, change our diets, reduce, reuse, recycle, grow your own food and clean up rivers and coasts. We are the generation that can make peace with nature.

More information on this year’s application process will be posted on Education Authority social media in the coming weeks.

It's Half Term! Enjoy your week off. Looking forward to having everyone back to school on Monday 6th June. 

Friday 27^th is a non uniform day. Pupils may wear red and white if they wish to support Derry who play in their Ulster Finals this weekend.

Primary 5 and their friends from Portstewart P.S. had an amazing day yesterday taking part in the Peace Proms at The Waterfront Hall, Belfast. What a wonderful experience for them as they performed with schools from all over Northern Ireland accompanied by the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland.

The Chronicle is publishing a special primary seven souvenir edition in June 2022. This special supplement will feature full colour pictures of primary seven classes from schools across the area.

Copies are available to pre-order from THE SHOP on SchoolMoney, cost £1.20 each. For every copy ordered 20p will be donated to our school funds.

Copies will be delivered directly to the school in June.
