Sorting out your summer wardrobe? Time for a clear out of old or unwanted textiles? Our next Cash for Clobber Collection is on Wednesday 23rd May. Please help us recycle and raise funds for our school.(The school that collects the most clobber per pupil wins a magnificent cash prize... £1000!!)

Bags of clean, unwanted textiles may be left on the stage in the school assembly hall.

Our Eco Committee had a brilliant day out at Garden Show Ireland at Antrim Castle Gardens. After the excitement of receiving our award for ‘Most Creative Interpretation of the Theme’ for our ‘Owl and the Pussy-cat' miniature garden, we had a chance to look at all the other gardens and exhibits, have a go at gardening and environmental activities and the climbing wall! What a great day! 

We are thrilled to have been awarded ‘Most Creative Interpretation of the Theme’ at Garden Show Ireland at Antrim Castle Gardens yesterday for our Eco Committee's ‘Owl and the Pussy-cat' miniature nursery rhyme garden. They were presented with their certificate by the Mayor of Antrim and Pamela Ballantine.

 

A big thank you to everyone who helped us to create our garden.

 

Our garden is on display until end of the show on Sunday and will then be returning to school.

It's Half Term! Enjoy your week off. Looking forward to having everyone back to school on Monday 14th May.

 

Assessment will continue for all pupils during the week beginning 14th May. Please ensure good attendance over this period to allow completion of assessments.

Sports Day is planned for Tuesday 15th May. In the event of bad weather, our alternative date that week is Thursday 17th May(Outdoor Classroom Day).

 

Best wishes to our Primary 7 pupils who were confirmed by Bishop Anthony Farquhar at St. Mary's, Star of the Sea Church yesterday evening.

We've had a great start to our Translink Travel Challlenge... walking, cycling and scooting to school. Remember our walking buses leave Manina and The Warren at 8.40am SHARP each day.
