PSNI Officers have visited the school and advised me to inform you that they have been monitoring the traffic around the school at busy school times. They have noted incidences of speeding and parking infringements. They have advised that they will now issue fixed penalty notices and/or points to those deemed to be breaking the traffic laws without further warning.
Keep our children safe by parking safely. PSNI would like to see our parents making good use of the car park behind the fire station.
Well done to our Primary 6 and 7 cross country runners who took part in Flahavin’s Porridge Primary School Cross Country League at University of Ulster, Coleraine this morning. A great performance by all our runners and CONGRATULATIONS to Sophia Coyle who took first place in the girls race.
A huge thank you to our parent helpers Claire Coyle, Chris Lafferty and David Egan and to St. Joseph’s College for providing transport.
Well done everyone!
What a great afternoon at the Christmas Fair! Thank you to everyone who helped in any way to organise a super event and to our stall holders, all who donated prizes, prepared games and art activities, rolled tombola tickets, baked cakes and created other yummy treats. And a huge thank you to all who came along...we’re sure you are in the festive spirit now!
The Department of Education has published an advice leaflet for parents setting out the main steps in the post-primary transfer process.

May he Rest in Peace.
It's #BlackFriday today - the biggest day of the year to raise donations for your good cause. If everyone shopped online through easyfundraising together we could raise a huge £20.6 million for good causes.
Please help us make #GiveBackFriday a reality by spreading the word. Share this image, along with your cause page link (you can find it here: https://www.easyfundraising.org.uk/causes/stcolumspta/ ) and ask everyone you know to get involved and raise free donations when they shop. Be part of something really special! 😊
