Primary 6 had a great morning at Loreto College Taster Day. They enjoyed games in PE, learned about circuits in Physics, discovered lots of facts about volcanoes in Geography and decorated cupcakes in Home Economics. What a busy morning!
It was lovely to have some of our past pupils help us decorate cupcakes and show us around.
Thanks to all at Loreto College for organising a super morning!
We had a lovely whole school assembly last week. Our Eco Committee told us all about making their miniature ‘Owl and the Pussy-cat’ garden, their day out at Garden Show Ireland at Antrim Castle Gardens and their excitement when they received the award for ‘Most Creative Interpretation’.
Certificates were presented to Primary 3 and Primary 5 for completing the RSPB Big Schools’ Birdwatch and to Primary 6 for completing Level 1 & 2 National Standard Cycle Training.
Well done everyone!
Doesn't the nice weather make you want to sort out your summer wardrobe? Time for a clear out of old or unwanted textiles?
