ECO BRICK ASSEMBLY
A big thank you to Lisa from the National Trust who visited school to speak to us us about our beach, Portstewart Strand, going ‘Plastic Free’ and challenging each pupil to make an ‘Eco-Brick’ in an effort to raise awareness and reduce use of single use plastics.
Dominican College pupils will use these Eco-Bricks to make sculptures which will be unveiled on World Oceans Day on Saturday 8th June at Portstewart Strand.
We’re very excited to be involved in raising awareness of single use plastics and making Portstewart Strand a
'Plastic Free' beach.
