PRIMARY 1 APPLICATIONS

The EA Connect portal has now closed for Primary 1 applications.  

You can submit a late application via the following link... https://www.eani.org.uk/parents/admissions/primary-admissions-guide#how-do-i-apply

The deadline for late applications to be submitted is not later than 4.00pm on Wednesday 31 January 2024.    

A paper application form is also available on request (including Irish Language version) from the EA Admissions Office and must be returned no later than 4.00 pm on 31 January 2024.

If you still need to apply after 4pm on 31 January 2024 you will be able to apply after the Admissions procedure closes on 25 April 2024.

PRIMARY 1 SCHOOL AGE

Children born on or between 1 April 2019 and 1 July 2019 (inclusive) and children born before 1 April 2019 but with a due date on or after 1 April 2019 whose parents deferred their admission to primary school in September 2023.

Children born on or between 2 July 2019 and 1 July 2020 (inclusive).

Children born on or between 1 April 2020 and 1 July 2020 (inclusive), and children born before 1 April 2020 but whose due date was on or after this date may submit a request to defer P1 admission for September 2024.  See information on Deferral of School Starting Age.
