A fun filled evening for all. Everyone Welcome.
We had a great time yesterday for our whole school literacy celebration, Everybody Writes Day. The theme for the day was Music & Poetry. Our day started with an assembly led by Primary 6. They told us about the life of poet Seamus Heaney and Mr. Shaw read one of his poems. The rest of our busy day was filled with activities relating to music and poetry and each class made their own 'Poetree'. A special thank you to our parents, Alice, Debbie, Katherine, Sarah, Alan and Joe who came in to read stories they had written for our literacy day.
